TAURUS (Apr. 21 - May 21)
Taureans might want to plan a simple wedding in a family home - better to save money for a place of their own. That seriousness attracts more generous wedding gifts from friends and family. The gown a mother, grandmother, or great-grandmother wore lends sweet elegance and brings good luck. A honeymoon in an old country inn in a town filled with antique stores and intimate little restaurants is like icing on the wedding cake.
GEMINI (May 22 - June 21)
A Gemini might spontaneously elope and then invite family and friends to gather together and celebrate later. If it is like having two weddings, why not have two honeymoons and extend a happy occasion for weeks? And, three might even be the charm if families are from different areas of the country. Sure, it's avant-garde, but it sounds like fun, doesn't it?
CANCER (June 22 - July 22)
Moonchildren may plan a simple wedding and honeymoon in order to feather a nest or home of their own. That doesn't mean that the ceremony can't be romantic and sweet. If you plan an outdoor wedding, Mother Nature handles it for you.
LEO (July 23 - Aug. 22)
Lions rarely do things simply: "Why scrimp on such an important occasion?" Bear in mind, however, that if you can't afford the glitz and glam, you are going to be the center of attention no matter what. perhaps you might follow a shared theme or an interest that extends right on into the honeymoon trip. If you are proud, happy, and enjoying the day, everyone else will too.
VIRGO (Aug. 23 - Sept. 23)
A simple but traditional wedding - and one that you have lots of assistance planning and executing - is best for a Virgo. This keeps you from getting so hung-up and worried about every little detail that you can't relax, enjoy the day, and glow instead of looking stressed. Bride and groom should plan the honeymoon together, however. The ceremony focuses on the conventional. Let your intimate life begin with a spark of the unconventional.
LIBRA (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23)
If any sign brings big, traditional weddings to mind, it is Venus-ruled Libra. Your ceremony should echo any chapter of any bridal magazine that appeals to you. It's perfect, from the moment the Sun rises and shines on your happy day to the very moment the Moon sheds her romantic light at the start of your honeymoon.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24 - Nov. 22)
Ordinarily you might prefer a private ceremony, but this year you may go all out with the wedding of all weddings to celebrate your love. A non-traditional honeymoon that takes you both out of the ordinary, a bit on the edge, is, too. Although you welcome guests with open arms, there will come a time when you'll wish they hadn't intruded.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 - Dec. 21)
What better for the Sagittarian than a wedding that creatively encompasses many different countries and traditions? And if you can't afford to go all out, borrow and recycle memorabilia from others' ceremonies. They will be happy to share. You need a dreamy honeymoon to an exotic location or one that gives you the sense that you've traveled long distances to share romance together;
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 - Jan. 20)
Capricorns are prone to weddings that mix business with pleasure. If this is your plan, everything will be first class, from ceremony to honeymoon to the destination the boss recommends. The key point here is that both of you must agree about that choice. A mate who has dreamt forever and a day of a big wedding will never forget (for at least that long) that they didn't have one.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19)
Many Aquarians like small weddings in unusual places where friends, more than family, congregate to celebrate. If so, you might want to make it seem impromptu so the latter won't be hurt that they weren't invited. Then, have another reception they can attend, later. You can wear what you want for the first occasion and be as traditional as you have to at the second. Leave the friends behind and go, just the two of you, on the honeymoon.
PISCES (Feb. 20 - Mar. 20)
There may be many Pisces weddings in 2006, and Fish will say, "I do" in creative, memorable ceremonies. In this light, you have to express your desires, not just agree to do it your partner's way. You can keep the honeymoon destination a secret surprise, which turns out to be icing on the cake. Your partner is guaranteed a romantic, and equally memorable, interlude.
