    本轮比赛AC米兰获胜面要更大一些。从近两年双方战绩来看，安切罗蒂带领的米兰队在同国米的“德比战”中处于上风。上赛季两队甚至根本不在一个“档次”上。在上赛季两队四次交锋中，AC米兰取得了3胜1平的战绩。而本赛季的国际米兰队焕然一新，从实力对比来讲，国米也确实感觉到“复仇”的时机已经来临。近一时期以来，AC米兰队颓势顿显，在上周末的联赛中他们1：2不敌切沃。在本周二欧洲冠军联赛小组赛最后一轮，他们也只是3：2险胜德甲沙尔科04队，艰难地获得了小组出线资格。不过任何“诋毁”AC米兰实力的言论，在该队巴西中场卡卡眼里都是徒劳的。现年23岁的卡卡8日在接受意大利《体育报》采访时认为，米兰现在同以往任何时候一样，都对胜利充满着信心。

    卡卡说：“我不知道他们（国米）会带着怎样的想法参加这场比赛。但我们在取得欧洲冠军联赛胜利之后，士气高昂。”

    如果上述两人都不能首发的话，那么曼奇尼很可能安排阿德里亚诺一人在前场出任“单箭头”，而让菲戈、贝隆和斯坦科维奇殿后支援。

    The leaders host relegation battlers Cagliari which means the Milan clubs know anything less than victory at the weekend will almost certainly result in them falling even further off the pace.

    AC Milan go into the match as favourites. In the past two years, Carlo Ancelotti's side have enjoyed supremacy over Inter.

    Last season they were simply in a different class, racking up three wins and a draw in four meetings against Inter, including back-to-back victories in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

    Inter, however, may feel the time has come to break the sequence.

    AC Milan have shown a rare vulnerability lately, losing 2-1 to Chievo Verona last weekend and edging a nervy 3-2 victory over German side Schalke 04 in midweek to snatch a place in the knockout stages of the Champions League.

    Any suggestion they might be ready to give up bragging rights was denied by Brazilian playmaker Kaka, who said AC Milan were as confident as ever.

    "I don't know what frame of mind they (Inter) will bring into this match but we are in a wonderful mood after our Champions League win," the 23-year-old was quoted as saying in La Gazzetta dello Sport on Thursday.

    Since joining AC Milan at the start of the 2003-04 season, Kaka has developed into one of the club's most influential players as well as saving several of his best performances for the derby fixture.

    He scored his first Serie A goal in a 3-1 win over Inter in October 2003 and has since struck twice more against their arch rivals.

    "It will be the usual derby. There will be a lot of feeling on both sides, a big desire to win," said Kaka.

    "Only one thing is certain, after the three goals I've always scored against them, all I can think about is getting a fourth on Sunday."

    AC Milan's main concerns are in defence. Captain Paolo Maldini is expected to start despite suffering a thigh strain against Schalke while Alessandro Nesta is still recovering from a mild bout of flu.

    Inter coach Roberto Mancini faces the difficult choice of who to play alongside Adriano in attack.

    The Brazilian's favoured partner, Alvaro Recoba, picked up an injury during last week's 1-0 win over Ascoli while Obafemi Martins is struggling for form.

    If neither make the starting 11, Adriano could play alone up front with Luis Figo, Juan Sebastian Veron and Dejan Stankovic in support.

    Juventus are not the only team who would benefit from a Milan derby draw.

    Fiorentina could pull level on points with AC Milan if they beat Treviso on Saturday.
