10月27日上映的恐怖片《电锯惊魂3》》（Saw III）赶在了万圣节前放映，一放映票房就排在了第一名。变态杀手“竖锯”消失了，而他的新学徒Amanda玩具木偶，继续着死亡游戏，再度恐吓大众，玩弄警方，竟又逃脱追捕，人间蒸发。某夜晚，Lynn在医院被人绑架，被带到一个废弃的仓库里。在那里，她遇见了躺在床上且濒临死亡边缘的“竖锯”。她要想方设法让“竖锯”活下去，于是一个非人性的阴谋任务开始了 。竞学网影视英语频道推荐。

      Jigsaw has disappeared. One night, after finishing a shift at her hospital, Lynn is kidnapped by the deranged Amanda and taken to an abandoned warehouse where she meets Jigsaw, aka: John Kramer (Tobin Bell), who's now bedridden and on the verge of death. Lynn is told that she must keep the madman alive for as long as it takes Jeff (Angus Macfayden), another of his victims, to complete a game of his own.

Racing against the ticking clock of Jigsaw's own heartbeat, Lynn and Jeff struggle to make it through each of their vicious tests, unaware that Jigsaw and Amanda have a much bigger plan for both of them...

I managed to get a free screening to see the third installment of the "Saw" series and I walked into the theater with low expectations, mainly because I was positive they couldn't possibly make yet another great Saw film. I was wrong.Saw III is just as good as the original Saw, and is much more like it.

I suggest you watch the previous two films before going to see Saw III, like I did, otherwise it might be quite confusing at timesThe gore in Saw III is so strong it will make even the strongest moviegoers cringe, although I thought that not all of it was necessary, and some of it was there just to make the audience shield their eyes.
